Artist As First Responder (AAFR) is transforming the cultural sector into a space where Black, Indigenous, and artists and culture bearers of color are protected, honored, and deeply invested in. Through exhibitions, artist residencies, public forums, and archive-centered programming, AAFR cultivates spaces for cultural preservation, community care, and global exchange.
