Éist

Éist works to cultivate and promote community-based, post-conflict transformative justice through art, culture and media that focuses on first-person perspectives of justice and accountability, trauma and healing, and the aftermath of war.

We are currently working alongside members of Octavia’s Brood to organize a series of workshops in Belfast, Northern Ireland that will explore the use of visionary fiction as a tool for use in a post-conflict community which continues to engage in efforts to create the best way to deal with the legacy of the past. We are partnering with Irish artist and former political prisoner Laurence McKeown and the Armagh-based nonprofit Diversity Challenges.
